Why we built it ## Marketing content should come from the catalog Most small and mid-sized stores already have everything a good social post needs: a product name, a description someone worked hard on, photos, sometimes a video, a price and a link. What they lack is the hour a day it takes to reformat that into posts and publish them on five platforms. So AutoPost closes the gap. Instead of asking merchants to become content managers, it reads the catalog, applies a template they approved once, and publishes on a rhythm they chose. How we work ## Principles we do not trade away ### Official integrations only Every network is connected through its documented developer API and OAuth flow. We do not scrape, we do not automate a browser session, and we do not ask merchants for social media passwords. ### The merchant approves the message AI drafts copy; it never publishes something a merchant has not configured. Templates, schedules and target accounts are all explicit choices, and every queued post can be edited before it goes out. ### Errors are shown, not hidden When a platform rejects a post we surface the actual reason in plain language instead of a silent failure, so the merchant can fix the cause. ### Least privilege We request the narrowest set of Shopify scopes and platform permissions that publishing requires, and document each one publicly. ### No lock-in Uninstall and posting stops the same moment.
