Five networks, connected the same careful way
AutoPost publishes to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and X (Twitter) through each platform's own official API. Every connection is an OAuth authorisation you approve on the platform's own screen, and every permission we request has a reason you can read below.
Pick the ones your customers actually use
Connect one or all five. A single automation can publish to any combination, and each network keeps its own caption rules.
Feed images, videos, Reels and carousels on a professional account. The workhorse for most product catalogs.
Instagram integration →TikTok
Video posts, photo posts and carousels of up to 35 images through the Content Posting API.
TikTok integration →Photo and video posts to the Facebook Pages you manage, with the product link in the copy.
Facebook integration →Image and video pins on the board you choose, each linking straight back to the product page.
Pinterest integration →X (Twitter)
Short product posts with media, validated against the platform's 280-character limit before queueing.
X integration →More to come
New networks are added when they offer a stable publishing API and merchants ask for them. Tell us which one you need at help-center@amasty.com.
What each network accepts
Caption limits are enforced by AutoPost before a post is queued, so you find out while editing rather than after publishing.
| Network | Post types | Account required | Caption limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Image, video, Reel, carousel | Professional (business or creator) account linked to a Facebook Page | 2,200 characters | |
| TikTok | Video post, photo post, photo carousel (up to 35 images) | An account permitted to post | 2,200 characters |
| Photo post, video post | A Facebook Page you administer | 2,200 characters | |
| Image pin, video pin | Business account with at least one board | 800 characters | |
| X (Twitter) | Post with image or video | Any account able to post | 280 characters |
How connecting an account works
The flow is identical on all five networks, which is deliberate: fewer surprises, one thing to understand.
You start it
Click Connect on the network's card in the Accounts page. Nothing happens until you do.
The platform asks
You are taken to the platform's own authorisation screen, where you log in and see the exact permissions requested.
A token comes back
The platform returns an authorisation token, which AutoPost stores encrypted and uses only to publish what you configured.
You can undo it
Disconnect in AutoPost or revoke access on the platform. Either way the token is dropped and publishing stops.
It does not ask for your social media password, does not read your inbox, followers or private analytics, does not post to accounts you have not connected, does not follow, like or comment on your behalf, and does not publish anything outside the automations and posts you set up. Details per network are on the pages above; the full data picture is in the Privacy Policy.
